Educated in the country of Jordan, Dr. Firas Rabi earned his medical degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed an internship in multiple specialized fields at the Jordan University Hospital. He earned his Jordan medical license in 1999 and began working as a school pediatrician for Arab Model Schools in the city of Amman. Two years later, Dr. Rabi immigrated to America, where he accepted an instructor position, where he trained underprivileged people to become medical assistants. He then embarked on his training to first become a pediatrician and then subspecializing in pediatric critical care. Over the next 13 years, he would serve in a number of educational and clinical posts with institutions throughout the Northeast and Midwest. Dr. Firas Rabi currently treats patients as a physician with Northwest Pediatrics in Dublin, Ohio. Firas Rabi’s numerous medical awards and accolades extend back to his medical school days, when he graduated with special honors in scholastic achievement. He went on to earn recognition as an outstanding intern and a valedictorian at New York’s Children’s Hospital of Hudson County. His peers and supervisors voted him as the chief resident during his last year of pediatric training. Dr. Rabi received numerous teaching awards over the next few years, and he was eventually asked to lead a team charged with developing a new medical curriculum for all medical students in the state of Indiana. His skills as a leader and an educator were highlighted when he was asked to develop a critical care nurse practitioner program at Indiana University.
